Green Veined White Butterfly

Named after the greenish vein patterns that follow the lines of the lower wings, the upper wings of the Green Veined White butterfly are similar to the Small White butterfly.

The Green Veined White butterfly is seen from April to October and in the Northwest UK can be found mainly on grassland. This one was spotted at Ward's Reservoir.
